I initially left a bad -ish review about their service department. Cliff, their service manager, responded, asking me to call him. I did, and he made right every concern I had. I purchased a 2010 Chevy Tahoe from this dealership.
Our agreement was they would fix several small issues that I noticed on the vehicle. Such as the cruise control, the cracked dash, etc. prior to me taking the vehicle home. (However on the paperwork they stated “advise” instead of repair”.

I took my car in for an oil change. Chandler was courteous and thorough. My car was ready in a very short time.
This was my first new car purchase and they made the process very easy. I took my vehicle in for the recommended inspections and basic maintenance. It did not take long and the service advisor was very helpful. They made this whole daunting experience much easier than I expected from previous used car dealerships experiences. I would highly recommend them.
Appointment for service was easy to make. Service manager was very thorough in explaining the service they were going to perform. Provided me with a free shuttle back home and I did not have to wait. Called me a few hours later and said the service was completed. Service Manager was Chandler and he was great.

Let me start by saying that I do not like writing negative reviews, however the consumer should be warned before purchasing from this dealer. I bought a brand new 2026 Chevy Trax from South Pointe in November of 2025. I have had to put it in the service department now three times due to the engine light coming on - twice for engine/transmission issues and once for emissions. The car is still under 8,500 miles, by the way.

I brought my car here to get the oil changed, along with a coupon I'd received in the mail. They got me right in, on a Saturday, honored the coupon, and because they had the part in stock, replaced the recalled part as well. Chandler was super nice and kept me posted every step of the way. Will be back!

Took my vehicle in for an oil change. I was in and out in 30 minutes.
I have felt dismissed. After the oil change, the service advisor didn’t even tell me where my car was and put his finger up at me when I walked back in to ask where it was. I’ve been trying to get my car looked at for other concerns for three months now. They tell me that I have to leave it for three days before a technician can look at it.
They were straight to the point they could beat everyone else and was willing to prove what they say they will do
They were very polite and helped me get into a good car and helped me out with my trade in as well. I have no complaints. I'd definitely go back and deal with them in the future if in need.

I took my diesel 2500 there for an oil change at 3 o’clock yesterday. I picked it up yesterday. They were also supposed to do an alignment. It took them a few minutes for a service rep to come to me and they were not busy had zero cars before me or after me. I was there to just do an oil change and then asked them to check my transmission fluid. She came back after initially telling me it would be free to check it, 2 minutes later telling me it would just under $200 to check the fluid. That’s insane to me. Received coupon from south pointe chevrolet for oil change and car wash. the service tech stated they do not wash cars. How does the dealership clean their vehicles? May seem petty but why state car wash with oil change. The oil change prior to this current one /the tech used wrong size oil filter and I was told it did not mater, had to make 2nd trip to install proper oil filter. The tech failed to return removal socket for locking lug nuts on tire rotation.
