South Pointe Chevrolet is happy to help you custom order a Chevrolet.
Previously, if someone was considering a custom-ordered vehicle purchase, it usually meant that it was a rare car or they wanted something ultra-specific. In either case, the car buyers were willing to pay for the right of getting something special, despite knowing that it would likely take additional time to complete the order. The appeal of purchasing that rare vehicle canceled out the extra wait time vs. getting a new car from the local inventory. Today the car-buying landscape has shifted greatly. Gone are the days of rows of new vehicles to pick from, so when you need something specific, then custom ordering from the factory is your best option. If you need a car immediately, then purchasing from the cars available on the lot now is your only option.
The enjoyable part of custom ordering is that you can select just the upgrades you need. You can pick NAV, leather seats, and All-Wheel Drive, and it can even be your favorite color: green! In the past, you may have needed to compromise depending on cars that were in stock. You could get all of the tech you wanted, but it was Front-Wheel Drive instead of AWD. Or they had the right color, but it had cloth seats instead of leather. When you custom order, you get what you want.
When you think about it, by custom ordering your brand-new vehicle from the manufacturer, you don’t pay for the tech you don’t need. Perhaps you needed AWD and NAV but didn’t care about the vehicle color or leather seating. To be fair, you might not be able to individually order each option ala carte, yet by ordering your new car, you can cut down on the undesirable options. Be sure to review any option packages, as they often offer the most popular upgrades together at a lower price.
If you are ordering your car, you know what you want. You won’t need to spend time test-driving different models, comparing options, etc. It couldn’t be easier, just schedule time with one of our sales professionals, and they will educate you on the custom order guide and help you pick only what you need. When the delivery day arrives, you can stop in, sign a few documents and be on your way. The new standard in the car-buying experience is custom ordering.
